Credit & KoE Caps explained

Greetings, Immortals. It is time to shed some light on a specific topic – the Credit and Knowledge of Enemies caps – and explain some of the decisions that rotate around its existence.

Ever since the birth of Skyforge, the credit and Knowledge of Enemies caps were placed as a means to ensure players could safely log in without fear of finding themselves miles behind others who could play more often than they could – a none-too-common feature in MMORPG’s. While it’s a noble gesture in essence, its past iterations worked both ways – prevented players from getting ahead, yet also halted others from catching up. Thanks to your feedback over time, we’ve held this system under constant review over the course of Skyforge and have refined it in many ways since, and even experimented with its removal (announced during the Ascension Update).

Having discussed it further with the dev team, we’d like to inform you of exactly what caps are in place and explain why their removal could still be more damaging than beneficial to Skyforge compared to the alternative. Let’s take a look at what is currently in place.

As of today, there exist limits to Knowledge of Enemies and Credits – 250,000 (KoE) and 10,000,000 credits a week. This system resets at 4am on Wednesday’s (server time).

As long as these limits are in place, they protect us from exploits (which essentially leaves open the unfair possibility that some accounts could acquire what you have worked hard to achieve in an instant), while also making it a lot easier to spot who (or what) is abusing the system. It also serves as a safety net for ourselves in terms of potential design, script or code errors. Should an error occur that causes imbalance, the system limits the aftereffects enough to make remedying such problems considerably easier for all involved and maintain server balance.

While we are still monitoring the situation, the limits are there for the above mentioned reasons and we are not planning to remove them at the moment.

So as from today really? look like you nerf limit too before it was 15m credit and 300k KoE and I find it funny how you say ****And even experimented with its removal (announced during the Ascension Update)**** which is a lie, I remember it being announced clear that there be no limited... is it so hard to be clear and honest from the start?.

On the start of ascension I did all of 1st time initial region maps and got my rewards, and when I was like half way done on the 1st time region quest of the day on the game I stop getting koe forever until next week

I even made a ticket on why my koe from previous maps was not handed down and ticket man said that is not bug

and said I can get maps instead of koe


also game is timegated and needs stimulants to even advance so it is still pushing lower pres people to not able to advance , if u want people to advance just remove stimulant requirements and have emojis on chat and more better dancing animations

I believe that line was intended to state, at the time of this post, the caps are currently this. Not saying it was changed or altered.

I also believe people thought the caps were higher due to certain rewards of credits/koe not being on the cap. Such as certain loot boxes, operation rewards, login bonuses

So I have premium rank 8, where it says I get 125% credits/KOE. KOE doesn't always give 125% (based on what I've seen.) is that a bug or intended

It seems to round down on the KoE reward from monsters, when dealing with decimals.

U mean the unfair possibility of people buying the powers to get over 1billion prestige on maxing chappels and ToK in an instant?

And the unfair advantage on where get instant might from hrs and hrs of grinding followers .

and then it got nerf to 100 followers a day since the Aelion wants the mightless to stay mightless and the people with might to say on top all the time ?

Also really need emojis in chat and make /preset 1 /preset 2 and /preset 3 commands work for a change sheesh, before it was for ring sets make them symbol sets or something

and better dancing and delete the entire guide forums since all is outdated garbage and is leading confusion to newer players  and make a guide contest

I do understand the safety net, avoiding exploits, etc etc etc. But 10 million credits and 250k KoE? I can understand the limit on KoE, not all people can reach that. But, 10 million credits? Normal, non-hardcore players can reach that within 4 days, while hardcore players can reach that within 2 days. I'm totally disagree with 10 million credits cap, it should be at least 20 million or 30 million IMO.  

the 10 million credit limit is just too low. hell i often use 14 clicks on cathedral thats 14.2 mill a week.... i can then get 10 of those back. this is NOT to prevent players from abusing the system this is to force players into converting argents into credits at the silly rate of 20 mill credits for 100k argents..... this limit is only punishing those who are active players, they will hit the limit, have no ways to empty ther bags and things will then pile up, when the bag is full they got nothing to do till next reset....

And this is the truth. It's funny how the Ascension update that removed so many good things from this game (character customization, min/maxing character Atlas's, etc) and selling it with the "caps removed!" BS.

Economic System Changes

Many currencies and resources will not form a part of the Ascension and all caps will be canceled. Play as much as you like — credits will no longer disappear from the reward list. In addition, there will be missions for which you can earn a nice amount of Argents for! Sound's good, doesn't it?

Luckily we don't make you pay to keep logging in every day, but you still do. :) Everyone has their own feelings about the game, as its best described to be constructive and not destructive if you don't like something.

Hey Everyone!

I understand what has been said in previous articles and where we are at today. I understand your frustrations and feelings about this topic and I will discuss it with our development team. I definitely have gotten the picture, we all get it now, the best thing to do is move forward with what has been presented as caps and we will see what future updates hold. I will continue to address this with the Skyforge team and let them know your side of the story.
